And although some addiction recovery centers confine patients to hospital-style quarters while restricting their activities and communications, we believe real recoveries require practical solutions.
Our addiction recovery treatment programs include medically-managed detox so clients can withdraw from the effects of alcohol and/or drugs safely. We provide multidisciplinary therapies, including dual diagnosis, in more one-to-one settings than any other addiction recovery service in the U.S. And because we only accept a small number of clients at one time our group therapy sessions — often a terrifying experience for recovering addicts — are less intimidating.

As our clients learn to love living life in sobriety, they participate in the diverse array of incredible activities only 12 Palms can offer. Our clients go deep sea fishing and learn to surf. They go horseback riding and play golf. They swim in our large on-property pool and watch the sun set from our dock. They stroll the lush subtropical grounds of our 10-acre waterfront property. They play beach volleyball and go to the movies. In short, they focus on having fun without alcohol and/or drugs.
Most of all, unlike other addiction rehab centers, our clients have full access to their family members and business associates. They can talk on their cell phones and use their laptop computers while in alcohol or drug recovery. When things become difficult, our staff is there to help them practice effective coping strategies so they can practice living life in sobriety outside of our addiction rehab facility.
