Duration
When an alcoholic or addict has finally had enough and is ready to seek substance abuse rehabilitation, they become ready and willing to do whatever it takes to rid themselves of their addictions, and are prepared to do all that they can to start a life in recovery.
Substance abuse rehab centers oftentimes have pre-planned lengths of duration for alcoholics and addicts seeking substance abuse rehabilitation, and oftentimes, clients and their families may have preconceived ideas about the length of time needed for an addict’s time in a rehab center.
At 12 Palms Recovery Center in Jensen Beach, Florida, the duration of in-patient recovery is dependent on several different factors—Duration or length of substance abuse, amount and type of substance abused, previous experience in substance abuse rehab centers, important employment/family obligations, dual diagnosis consideration and court ordered requirements that need to be met.
Once a client has started their recovery process at 12 Palms Recovery Center, they undergo a complete evaluation process with dedicated counselors and therapists, who consider all factors, including length of substance abuse, and make a determination of the length of stay. While drug abuse rehab centers may be rigid in their policies concerning lengths of stay in in-patient recovery, 12 Palms Recovery Center believes that there are times when the length of stay for a client will manifest itself until treatment begins and progresses.
Each individual addiction is unique to each client, and while length of substance abuse is a factor in determining length of stay, a client’s willingness to recover along with other considerations all factor into a client’s length of stay at 12 Palms Recovery Center. Clients suffering from dual diagnosis will also need to be assessed for length of stay as well, as emotional and mental disorders will need to be treated along with the addiction itself. Dual diagnosis consideration as well as length of substance abuse are both key determining factors in the program duration at 12 Palms Recovery Center.
12 Palms Recovery Center does not believe that substance abuse rehabilitation should be a pre-planned treatment program. Each client is individually assessed according to their own addiction and length of substance abuse, and specific treatment programs are tailored to meet each client’s needs. With a dual diagnosis consideration, clients at 12 Palms Recovery Center will also receive additional dual diagnosis treatment options that may include medication, one-on-one counseling and other types of therapies.
12 Palms Recovery Center offers 30, 60 and 90-day programs, with the goal of ensuring that each of their client’s recovery needs are met. Length of substance abuse can certainly be major factor in determining the length of stay, but 12 Palms Recovery Center also understands that each client responds differently to treatment, so substance abuse rehabilitation treatment plans can be altered accordingly.
As a leading rehab center in Florida, 12 Palms Recovery Center doesn’t limit itself to specific duration periods—it’s their belief that each client will determine their own length of in-patient recovery time, based on a full assessment of each client’s specific addiction, including length of substance abuse. Drug abuse rehab is difficult enough without putting specific timestamps on it, and at 12 Palms Recovery Center, each client will be given the exact amount of time required for them to achieve a solid foundation in early recovery.
